More than 30 golf courses next to the sea or the mountains, where you can feel the breeze of the Mediterranean.

The Region of Valencia is blessed with many features that make it an increasingly attractive destination for golf lovers: a wide and varied range of golf courses, a mild climate that lets you play throughout the year, and a lot to offer the tourist besides golf.

The Region of Valencia has become a region with one of the largest number of golf courses in Spain. Alicante province leads the ranking with 22 links, followed by Valencia with 10 and Castellon with 4. The courses in all three provinces offer a wide variety of challenges and routes in natural Mediterranean surroundings.

The IAGTO (International Association of Golf Tour Operators) awarded the Costa Blanca with the prize as the European Golf Destination of the Year in 2018. In Castellon you can play at the links of Sergio García (Mediterraneo Golf) and at El Saler Golf in Valencia, which has hosted the Spanish Open 4 times, and occupies ninth place in the Top 100 courses in Europe according to the Golf World Top 100.

What's more, the La Galiana Golf course in Carcaixent (Valencia) was awarded the ‘Best Golf Course in Spain 2019’ and the Finca Resort obtained the ‘Best Golf Hotel in Spain’ in the World Golf Awards. These prizes are regarded as the golfing Oscars, and are an award for excellence in international golf tourism.
